Four Steps to Savings

West Third Group works with newspapers to identify the true in-house costs of special sections operations. We then develop flat-rate pricing — per-page, a monthly fixed fee for some services, or a hybrid of the two — for consideration. To determine savings and optimal workflow, we generally follow the process outlined below.

- Initial meeting to review scope of program
- Overview from West Third Group about operations and opportunities
- Key action: Executed NDA so West Third Group can perform initial analysis

- Fixed number of sections during a 45- to 90-day window; no staffing changes
- WTG performs editing, design and writing duties; fixed-fee agreement recovers costs
